This brave robin (I think) has made her nest right outside our front door in the japonica shrub. She seems to be getting used to our comings and goings and doesn't freak out (too much) anymore.

I can't get close enough to get a really good picture of her. She's quite well hidden from casual view. This was my best shot. I'm dying to look into her nest but don't dare for fear she would abandon it if I got that close. Haven't heard any peeping yet. I think I read somewhere that less than half the time is hatching successful. We'll see what happens.
